We had a family lunch here. We all had different dishes and everyone was delighted. Fresh and tasty food. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. 5 star
A group of us had a great meal here, some good fish options as well as home made burgers etc. Real ale was in good condition as well. The seats outside have a great view over the estuary and is deservedly very popular when the sun is out
I had an overnight stay at the Inn at Ravenglass and had a fantastic time. Checking took place at the Pennington hotel, where you can also get lunch and evening meals. Breakfast was also served here. I had booked room 24 at The Inn at Ravenglass, and access was up the back of the property, and the room was self-contained. Views of the estuary from the room are amazing, with 2 windows looking directly out in different directions. I had my evening meal and breakfast, the selection was good, and both meals were substantial and tasty. I spent time exploring the surrounding area with easy access to the estuary and a short walk to Ravenglass & Eskdale Steam Railway. The highlight for me was definitely the location and views from my room.
I was treated to a surprise birthday lunch out with family at the Inn. The food is superb, locally sourced ingredients and so so tasty! Great selection of ales too. Pete and the team really look after you
What a lovely place Ravenglass is. Often missed as you tend to drive straight past it on the main road. The Inn is an exception place. We fell upon it by chance whilst in the area. The staff are brilliant. Couldn’t be more helpful. As we only wanted something small ordered off the starter menu. Had the prawn Thai curry and partner had the sweetcorn fritters. Both were amazing. Would recommend. Views from the inn are excellent. Thank you for the experience and would definitely recommend.
Fabulous food and ales, very dog friendly and brilliant service too. We ate there 2 nights running and all meals were fantastic. On the third night we ate elsewhere and regretted our decision! Highly recommended, and reason alone to return to Ravenglass soon! A brilliant place to catch the sunset.
Delightful little gem of a pub and foodie place. Weather was a bit meh, so I can't comment on glorious sunsets, but food was a tad pricey, but absolutely amazing and worth it. The vegetarian options for starters were delicious Would definitely recommend it.
What a great spot to have a meal and a drink. Drop by and see for yourself. Were staying locally and thought we would sit outside with the beautiful view of the river with a lovely pint. Had some food too which was a lovely meal & worth the money. Very friendly & welcoming staff
